British Napoleonic Army Parade

A parade of the British Army. I have decided to make it a bit more "dynamic" than the French parade posted earlier this year.

British on the left with their cavalry attacking French squares at the bottom and French cavalry attacking British squares at the top. In the center the French assault the British held farm while the Grand Battery supports them. On the hill on the right Napoleon looks on with a Battalion of the Guard in reserve.
Close up of the British squares.

Wellington on the hill behind the artillery in a view of the battle from a British balloon 😁

On the left the French cavalry sweep around the British squares and Wellington sends out the British reserve cavalry to see them off. On the right a French square is broken and the British cavalry pursue, out of control as always.

Successful British cavalry attack (it is their army parade after all)

The French columns near the farm house shielded by light infantry

The French cavalry attack from the French side.

View from the French balloon.

Some atmospheric shots to embarrass Ridley Scott 😁

It does not look good for the farm house.

The British hold

What is Wellington thinking? Probably that he needs a new pair of glasses

Another view of the battle,

Well that was a bit of fun. Pushing the toys around the table without having to bother with rules and dice. Just like the old days (really the very young days) 😂

Next up my trip to Waterloo with lots of photos.
