French Napoleonic Light Infantry and command stands

Another post of my painting output.

Two units of Light Infantry ready to show the rest of Europe what's what.

The 1st Legere Regiment

No flag for these fellows

Final two command stands. Including Mr. Bonaparte himself

Close up of N.B. and friends

Well, another bit of progress. I do need to add flock to all the bases though.

Figures 10mm from Pendraken as is the flag.

  1. You are churning out the units, Ben! Why are your legere units lead by mounted ligne colonels?

Officially: Because all the legere officers got drunk at a brothel the night before the battle and the Line officers had to step in.
Unofficially: Because I don't do my research before placing my orders 🤣

  2. Nice work Ben.... I would have just painted the mounted officers all blue so they looked similar to the legere enlisted men!

    1. Thanks Keith. A great idea.
Looking back at some of the command stands I made the officers have the large pompom on their hats so I probably did buy the Legere Officers but did not put them in the Legere units... 😢🤣
